More shipping ...
Posted by Dave Bull on November 12, 2012 [Permalink]
For the past couple of weeks now, it seems like the only posts we have made have been about shipping ... showing stacks of packages going out the door.
Well, we're going to keep up with that 'boring' stuff, because it's the same again today!
The brown packages standing up at the back are 'back numbers' of my own print series (Mystique, Arts, Treasure Chest, Surimono Albums, etc. ). We usually do these as close to the 15th of each month as we can, and we're a couple of days early this time.
The white 'bubble pack' envelopes are of course more of the new Chibi Heroes prints going out (a pile left on Saturday). The good 'take up' from collectors on this new series is very gratifying. It's a hoot to do something like this - have an idea just a few weeks ago, put up a quick website one evening and send out an announcement email, and then get busy carving and printing to actually make the things. From zero to 'new business' (albeit a fairly small one so far) in just a couple of weeks!
Thanks so much to all those who are giving this a try! We're going to work as hard as we can to make this a very 'good value' project ... beautiful little prints, at an insanely reasonable price!
If you aren't on board yet, it's certainly not too late; please visit the Chibi Heroes page today!

It used to be that you would take these shipments to the post office on your bicycle. It's starting to look like that is becoming logistically difficult. I've seen tricycles with pretty heavy duty cargo capacity. I think you'd look pretty good pedaling one of those!
