Description

Mokuboji Temple sits peacefully on the banks of the Uchigawa Inlet, leading to the Sumida River, on a slightly hazy autumn night in this print by Hiroshige. Despite the fact that it late, several people walk around the temple grounds, most looking up at the full moon. Several people can be seen inside one of the temple buildings, probably the restaurant famous for clam and taro dishes which was located on the temple grounds.
