Description: This design was originally created in the early 20th century, and published by the Doi Hanga Company at that time. What we have here is a brand new print, pulled from the original blocks, which have been in the possession of the Doi family since that time.

Some of the prints in the Mokuhankan catalogue of shin-hanga designs are printed here in our own workshop, but because we simply do not have enough experienced printers to handle all these old blocks, the Doi people have been sending them out to other printers still working in and around Tokyo. This is one from that group … It was printed by Seki-san.
