By adding this gampi paper to our catalogue, we are finally taking the first step toward also providing the supplies needed to make your own prints wherever you are around the world. This is 100% gampi paper with approximately 96 cm by 62 cm of usable area and natural selvage around all four edges. We will ship it as full sheets, rolled up in a strong cardboard shipping tube. We have this paper in two weights: this is the thinner 3-monme (approximately 11.25g/m2) gampi, thin enough that it may not even require peeling when used as a transfer sheet. Peeling will require a bit more delicacy than our thicker 5-monme sheets. You can see in the pictures below that this is noticeably more transparent than the 5-monme gampi sheets. This gampi paper can be glued directly to your wood blocks after printing/drawing/painting the image you wish to transfer onto it. The price is per sheet. Note about packing/shipping: Washi paper sheets are large, and cannot be shipped in the same (flat) package as woodblock prints. Orders that include paper will have a special charge added for packing and shipping in a strong tube. If the order is only washi, that will be the only shipping charge; if woodblock prints are ordered at the same time, a shipping cost for those items will also be included.
