Mike is an almost exact contemporary of Dave, and his life 'path' has been something similar - first into business, then later into art. (Only in Mike's case, a very big difference is that he was successful in the business world!)

Mike's 'big thing' is to explore the possibilities of using mechanical methods to perform the actual drawing of his works, using CNC technology and any number of interesting devices that he constructs and programs himself. The work of his in our catalogue - Aspen Grove - used such technology, with Mike 'programming' the carving in his workshop, and then sending the resulting blocks over here to Japan for printing in the traditional method.
