Description: This print depicts a snow-draped Uraga Port in Sagami Province (Soshu) alongside the Toumeydou lighthouse in the center, which was built to ensure the safety of maritime traffic at the time. The quiet mountain village nestled under a swirling snowfall creates a serenely beautiful scene.

The Toumeydou lighthouse was constructed by the Shogunate in 1648 to safeguard ships entering Uraga during an era when water transport was rapidly expanding.

This version is α post-war reproduction by the Yuyudo Company.
