Description: In this print from Hokusai's "1000 Views of the Sea" series, fishermen on the rocks cast their lines, hoping to make a catch. Some houses, perhaps those of the fishermen and their families, are nestled between trees on the left-hand side of the print. A little light beacon perches at the end of the rocks at the centre of the print. The man on the left in a hat has caught a little fish for his dinner.

This version was reproduced by Adachi Company, presumably in the 1970s.

Remains of mat and glue on the back of the print.
