Item from the Mokuhankan Flea MarketAfter Snow at Kasumigaseki![]() Size: 26.0cm by 39.5cm (10.24 in by 15.55 in) | Enlargement | Shipping Code: [L] ? Designer: Ando Hiroshige Era: Mid Showa | Currency: $ / £ / € Price: ![]() Description: One design from 'Eight Snow Scenes in the Eastern Capital', this print has a fabulous story behind it (see the main entry for this series for more details!). Despite the prevalence of white space in this print, it is one of the more lively prints in the series, and almost seems more colourful than the others. The layout of the print is also pleasing to the Western eye, putting the viewer squarely in the middle of the action together with the centered title panel. A very smart bit of karazuri blind-embossing is used at the centre-right of the print to represent snow being shoveled by a villager.
