Description: Uemura Shōkō was a Nihonga painter known for his bird-and-flower paintings (kachō-e). This print is a reproduction of the original painting and depicts two Java sparrows perched on a blossoming cherry branch.

The gentle interplay of pinks, blues, and greens brings light to the composition, while subtle background shading adds depth and dimension.
