Description: This print, lacking the artist's signature and the publisher's mark, is believed to be a work by Torii Kiyomasu I, depicting the performance of "Shinriki Teika Azuma Asobi" (Miracles of Teika's Trip to Eastern Regions) at the Yamamuraza theater in 1710. It is a type of mitate-e, or parody picture, that reimagines Ariwara no Narihira as Fujiwara no Teika. "Teika's Journey" was a popular folk tale during the Edo period.

This version is a post-war reproduction by Adachi Company.

Note: Adachi folded the print once to fit it into their packaging, and the crease is still visible. We will fold it at the same point for shipping.
