Beyond the stage, we can appreciate his painting skills inside this complete set of 6 woodblock prints published by the Kyoto Hanga-in in 1954. The images capture the performers as standing dancers, adorned in richly ornamented, colorful costumes. Against a bold golden background enhanced with a glittering pigment, the figures appear luminous, echoing the splendor and drama of the Noh stage. The set is accompanied by a pamphlet offering explanations and background stories in English and Japanese for each piece.  The publisher's information (Kyoto Hanga-in) is located at the back.   Each print portrays a celebrated Noh character from a different play: Dōjōji (The Temple at Dōjōji),  Some prints present mat burn on the margins.   Hagoromo (The Feather Robe),  Shōjō (The Drunken Spirit),  Funa Benkei (Benkei Aboard Ship),  Yamanba (The Mountain Crone),  and Kikujidō (The Chrysanthemum Boy).
