Description: This print is from the series "Eight Views of Edo," titled "Masaki." It depicts three women on a winter veranda. The woman on the left appears to be amused as a layer of ice on the water's surface sticks to her ladle as she tries to scoop some water.

A mark for Hashiguchi Goyo can be seen on the back, which suggests that this print is part of his published collection, "Yamato-nishikie" published in the late 1910s.


This print has foxing and toning

There is some foxing on the upper left area.
