He was highly regarded for his paintings on the theme of Ukai (cormorant fishing) and is also known for the murals he created at Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion). This double o-ban size woodblock print was published by Unsodo in 1988 in a limited edition of 150 copies. It depicts Mount Fuji with powerful presence just before sunrise.
