Description: Katō Tōichi (1916-1996) was a renowned Japanese painter born in Gifu Prefecture. He was highly regarded for his paintings on the theme of Ukai (cormorant fishing) and is also known for the murals he created at Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion).

This double o-ban size woodblock print was published by Unsodo in 1988 in a limited edition of 150 copies. It depicts Mount Fuji with powerful presence just before sunrise.


The print has few foxing spots on the print and the border.
