Description: Tokuriki Tomikichiro (1902-2000) was a printmaker born in Kyoto. He began his woodblock printing career around 1929 and went on to found the "Matsukyu" printmaking studio after the Second World War, where he trained apprentices. A central figure in the Kyoto Creative Print Movement, he was known for his unique approach of even mass-producing works using the traditional ukiyo-e method.

This print features a vibrant array of irises in full bloom, showcasing a rich variety of colors including pinks, blues, whites, and mottled tones. The close-up composition allows for an intimate appreciation of the delicate textures and subtle color variations.
