Description: Sano Seiji (1959-present) is a leading figure in contemporary woodblock printing. He began his printmaking journey in 1984, studying under Ido Masao. Sano is known for his poetic and emotional style, which captures the nostalgic beauty of traditional Japanese landscapes.

A serene scene of a man in a distant crossing the river with this boat. In the distance, the mountains barely visible basking in the soft morning light. The light illuminating in the water and the reflection in the water give a tranquil feel to the print.

The print has toning overall from light exposure.
