Description: "The 69 Stations of the Kiso Kaidō" is a series of ukiyoe woodblock prints created by Keisai Eisen and Utagawa Hiroshige around 1835-1837. It consists of a total of 70 prints of 69 stops along the Nakasendo route between Tokyo and Kyoto.

A print from Hiroshige's "Sixty-nine Stations of Kisokaido" series, showing Station 47 on the Kisokaido Road. The night scene of the farmer's family crossing the bridge is enhanced by their shadows and the hazy trees in the distance, creating a picture with great depth.

This print is a reproduction from Yuyudo.
