Description: Tokuriki Tomikichiro (1902-2000) was a printmaker born in Kyoto. He began his woodblock printing career around 1929 and went on to found the "Matsukyu" printmaking studio after the Second World War, where he trained apprentices. A central figure in the Kyoto Creative Print Movement, he was known for his unique approach of even mass-producing works using the traditional ukiyo-e method.

It depicts a beautiful spring scene, a boat floating on the Osawa Pond in the grounds of Daikakuji Temple in Saga, Kyoto, and the shoreline with cherry blossoms in full bloom. Published by Matsukyu.
