Description: This set of shikishi (art board) is likely a New Year's commemorative piece produced by Okina Co., Ltd., a paper product manufacturer that is still in business today. They commissioned four Japanese-style painters to create it, and the artwork beautifully depicts the four seasons. The credits are as follows:

Spring: Japanese Tiger Prawn by Matsuura Mitsuru
Summer: Evening Glory by Nishino Shinkawa
Autumn: The Best Kind of Brocade by Nomura Issei
Winter: Winter Scene of Echigo Province by Ishii Kimio

Paper: Iwano Ichibei
Carver: Nagashima Michio
Printer: Niimi Saburo

The dimensions given are for each print.

The prints are stored in a paper holder. They are in good condition except the Autumn print has slight creases and spots.
