Description: This set by Hasegawa Sadanobu has 4 prints, one for each season. It was published by Uchida in Kyoto in the 1950s. Each print depicts a maiko (an apprentice geisha) from Kyoto. Till this day, Kyoto still remains the most famous city in Japan for its geisha.

The titles of the prints are as follows:

Spring: 'Eventide'

Summer: 'The Bonfire Festival of Daimonji Hill'

Autumn: 'The Maple Leaves of Kiyomizu Temple'

Winter: 'Snow Scene at the Gion Shrine'

The 'autumn' print has a different color palette than some other versions of this set. The maple leaves are pink instead of orange.

Some of the prints have toning, mat burn and foxing.
