Description: Utamaro's works drawn in the similar style as this print include "Ta... of West station" (Nishieki Ta-jirushi) and "To... of Geikoku" (Geikoku To-jirushi). It is thought that names like "Ha-jirushi" and "Ta-jirushi" were nicknames, referring to the first character of the depicted woman's name.

The woman relaxing after a nice bath, the one referred to as "Ha-jirushi", while people of that time would have immediately known who she was, today it's impossible to tell.

This version is a reproduction by Adachi Company and published by Goto Ukiyo-e Hozonkai.

Dave's video "Blast from the Past - Episode #1" shows the blocks being carved by Okura-san used to create this print!
