Description: This painting depicts the white narcissuses in the cold weather under a snow shade, the sun seems to be shining on them, and seven puppies are taking a nap, clinging to each other adorably.

Koryusai designed many kacho-e (flower-and-bird paintings), he expanded from the traditional conception of it and depicted the majority of work in his personal style. In this print too, he extended over a greater variety of animals, and we can sense his realistic point of view.

This particular print is a post-war reproduction by the Adachi Company.
