Description: This reproduction set contains a selection of 12 prints by 6 major artists that represent the golden age of ukiyo-e. It was published by the Takamizawa company, likely in the 1960s or 1970s.

With the purpose to show the historical flow of ukiyo-e, it includes Harunobu's multicolored prints, Kiyonaga's realistic depictions of contemporary customs, Utamaro's beauties and Sharaku's portraits of kabuki actors that are representative of the Kansei ukiyo-e peak (1789-1800), and Hokusai and Hiroshige's landscapes that reached another peak in the Meiji period:
