Description: Three of Kiyonaga's famous tall and 'willowy' figures, the print captures a moment of shared intimacy. One of them, seated and focused, trims her nails, her loose robe falling away to reveal her shoulders and part of her legs.

Beside her stands another woman in a loosely draped kimono, her bare chest and striking red skirt providing a vivid contrast that catches the eye. The third figure, dressed in a deep blue robe, adds a rich tonal balance to the color palette, enhancing the subtle vibrancy of the other robes.

Kiyonaga’s fine attention to flowing lines and graceful poses conveys a calm environment, while the distinct garments, textures, and hues blend harmoniously.

This particular print is a post-war reproduction by Yamada Shoin.

There is a slight dent in the upper left area of this print.
