Description: This set of twelve prints by various painters, collected under the theme of bijin-ga, was published by Takamizawa, and includes images designed by Utamaro, Harunobu, Kunisada, Toyokuni, Kiyonaga, and Eishi.

The size shown is the print image size, but the two by Harunobu are slightly smaller, at 30 x 22cm. Each print comes with a Japanese description sheet, is lightly tacked to a mat, set in an envelope, and housed in a cloth-covered outer case. The outer dimensions of the box are 52 x 36 x 4.5cm.

The prints are in excellent condition overall. The Kiyonaga print (#10) has a few light foxing spots on the left side.

This is quite a spectacular set, and it is rare for us to find one unbroken, and in good condition like this.
