Description: This print by Utagawa Yoshitsuya depicts kabuki actor Ichimura Uzaemon in the role of candy peddler Ameuri Uzumatsu.

Very delicate bokashi gradation has been used in the whites of the eyes of Uzaemon, and the actor's hairline has been finely carved.

There is significant wormholing to the print, and the margins have been trimmed. There is also some soiling and discolouration, mainly to the extremities. The print has been mounted on paper.
