Description: It is one of the most famous prints from Hokusai’s celebrated Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji series, published c. 1830–1832.

Hokusai is known for his exceptional skill in capturing movements of water as well as portraying the vibrancy of the everyday life among common folk. This print beautifully reveals his talents, showing a peaceful moment at a watermill in Onden, a suburban area located near the current Harajuku station.


This particular print is a post-war reproduction by Takamizawa company.
