Description: This print is included in a set of 50 prints called "Ukiyo Ekagami," a collection of various artists and genres, which was probably a reproduction in the pre-war period.

This bust portrait of the kabuki actor Ichikawa Yaozo II is interesting by how the designer focuses on the facial gesture, this allows us to observe the great facial expression: he is angrily scowling his eyes while pressing his lips, one hand is strongly holding the handle of a sword to reinforce the "mie" in order to show his emotions at their peak. The three concentric rice measure crest of the Ichikawa Danjuro line of actors shown on his shoulder.

There are some chiri (mulberry bark scraps) on this print. Also, there are a few traces of glue removal on the backside.
