Here is the third collection of stories from my A Story A Week website - all the stories that appeared on the site during the first half of 2007.

With so many stories now completed in the series, the general tenor and tone of the collection has become established. Most of the stories seem to fall into one or another of a few ‘types’:
- episodes from my own experience.
- thoughts on some topic, usually triggered by something around me.
- something about my printmaking work.
- a story about a family member or friend.

But there is a new type of story making its first appearance in this volume - conversations with a ‘guest’. Rather than express a particular idea by means of simple narration, it is sometime more interesting to have it ‘explained’ verbally, and conversations will provide a venue for this. But who is the guest? Read on and find out!

I hope you enjoy this collection of my light stories. The next one will appear in another six months; if you can’t wait, then please visit the website, where you can read a new one every week:

Important note on the Printed version: If you are located in the US, it is far cheaper for you to obtain this book from Lulu, the 'print on demand' service. They will run off single copies to order, and the printing quality is very good. (This doesn't work for people living in other areas, as Lulu charges exorbitant shipping rates for addresses out of the US)

About the eBook version: The book has been slightly altered from the physical version; the Japanese vocabulary sections have been omitted, leaving all the English text untouched. The Table of Contents within this pdf version is also 'hot' - clicking on any story title will jump you to the corresponding page. The entire text of the book is also accessible with the 'search' function of your pdf reader. More information on the Mokuhankan eBooks - their format, how to use them, how to download them, and other relevant details, along with a free download sample you can inspect - can be found on this page.
