I designed this storage case for the purpose of storing and displaying the prints in my Small Print Collection. But in order to get the manufacturing price down to a reasonable level, I had to order more than I strictly needed for that purpose. I didn't worry about that, as I assumed that I would be making similar print series in the future, and that the same case would be useful at that time.

It turns out that I haven't had to wait that long. Completely unknown to me, the case that I produced to fit my own print series, is also an exact fit for a group of 45rpm records! And here we are, with zillions of baby boomers in full retro mode, looking back to the activities they enjoyed in their youth!

Unless you have a very small collection, you won't be able to keep all your 45s in this box (it holds around 10 records in paper sleeves, and a few less if they have thicker cardboard/plastic sleeves), but it will certainly serve to display some of your 'highlights' on the coffee table.

As you can see from the photos, the front flap - with an acrylic window - opens forward (it is held in place by magnet latches) to allow the item in the display stand to be changed, and to allow access to the inner compartment.

The support flap folds completely flush with the rear surface, for very compact storage on your bookshelf. Each case comes in its own cardboard shipping/storage box.
